Each April beekeepers – from hobbyist to commercial – are encouraged to take the survey by completing an online questionnaire . By doing so, you will become a Citizen Scientist, contributing to valuable long-term monitoring of managed colony losses and beekeeping practices in the United States. Data obtained from this survey is used by a diversity of stakeholders, ranging from national beekeeping organizations that request for federal and state support of the industry, to scientists at our country’s land-grant universities that design research plans to address major industry issues.
