
Second Steps in Beekeeping Virtual Class

Texas A&M AgriLife’s Second Steps in Beekeeping Virtual Program is scheduled and now up for registration! This class is meant for those in their first few years of beekeeping and wondering “what’s next?” Held Oct 15, 16, and 22nd from 6-8pm, we will be covering topics such as:
- How to prepare and get bees through winter,
- What to expect in the spring,
- Honey extraction,
- Best practices for Varroa Mites,
- Other diseases to watch.

All sessions will be recorded and available for one year, so you can watch what you miss or review later.
Note: Only one registration is required per household. Individuals living in the same household can watch under one registration.

Winter Preparation – diagnosing issues, combining hives, and proper feeding

Spring Expectations – Varroa mite monitoring and management, honey extraction, splitting hives, and requeening
